HELP with changing ePO agent policies

It seems that with mostly WinXP computers that the agent tab does not show up in the policies window in the upper rigth hand corner of the screen. Mcafee problem
I have succesfully installed ePO 2.5 and I am sending software (Mcafee 4.5.1) to the users on my network, but there is a problem. Some users are complaining that the VShield window is popping-up and freezing-up there computer frequently. I think this is becasue the agent update interval was set...- cprice82383

ePO agent and WinXP
I am able to manage the ePO agent with win2K boxes, but not with winXP boxes. I am able to communicate with the machines and I can install software, but for winXP machines the ePO agent icon is not present. What could this be caused by?
