    my customer wants users (who will all be using the same machine) - after completing a flash tutorial to enter their names in an html form. then their manager can pull up the .txt file to see who has completed the tutorial. no server, no backend.

    Is there anyway to write to a local file from data entered in a local HTML form without a server or any type of backend? Using ActiveX or java applets or something? ie: an html page sitting on a box with c:\webpage\webform.html writing to a file on that box c:\webpage\log.txt. Thanks!
