OpenView runs quite a few background processes - Which do the actual discovering of nodes, etc. # /opt/OV/bin/ovstop -v This stops all the background processes. [Also if you don't want it to start on boot....change /etc/rc.config.d Openview file from 1 to 0.] James- jrandall1968
