Thanks a bundle M - will test this when I get back. Whatever the resilt:- the link has given me the the right guidance, even if it means that I have to parse the code into PHP in the end. But at the moment it looks very hopeful and the info also includes Apache stuff I needed to know. Thanks...- detc

I've searched for an answer to this but it appears I'm the only one silly enough to want to do it. I am generating a page from a cgi that includes an 'include virtual'. The page is generated OK but the include is not executed. As I don't know a way to force the output to shtml I'm pretty...- detc
