    Thanks unixqueen. Actually, I want to remove all 'rpc' related daemons for the security issues. and pfsd has some with RPC. As you said pfsd will be cleared after reboot, but it is a production server , so i can't. that's why i want to kill pfsd.

    Hi,all After using pfsd for mounting cdrom, how can I clean up the daemons like 'pfsd' and 'pfs_mountd'? Can I just kill the daemons? or is there any other command? TIA
