Annoying IE6.0 address bar lag (W2K OS)
I don't have the exact same problem as you, since I don't have a blank homepage, but I notice a lag in the IE 6 address bar if you type in say "www.microsoft.com" (or any other URL) - takes forever to open the page. If you type "http://www.microsoft.com" it has no problems...- sublemon

Prevent non-authenticated win98 users from getting DHCP address?
HI I have a win2000 network with many win98 users. I want to prevent win95/98 users who don't login in (i.e. they "cancel" the windows login) from getting DHCP IP addresses. I don't think I want to use the MustBeValidated registry key becuase I understand that prevents them from...- sublemon

require users to logon to network
IF you set the must be validated key, what will happen if the user tries to login to the box when it is disconnected from the network? I want to force users to login if they are connected but not if they are not connected to the network (i.e. laptop users) - any way to do this? Or only give...- sublemon
