it is hooked to a raid, but i spent hours looking through this website and tried smart start 5.5 and it worked, before that i had tried only 7.1. thank you for your respones but somehow i figured it out and got win 2k3 installed sccussfuly.- pothead420

compaq proliant 3000 w/ disk detect problems
I have a compaq proliant 3000 with 2 pIII 500's and 6 18.2 drives. When i boot the server it wont detect any scsi devices (there are 6). Please if some one could help me figure out how to configure the array pre os i would be indebted to you forever.. adam k.- pothead420
