    I use custom/custom for Crystal reports. Haven't tried writing to the DB. Also support/support is available on my system.

    Tabs are Breyer out and won't let me change anything. Utilities to test the display are on the workstation, not the server. Loopback tests are all ok for the workstation ports. Still get checksum errors and # signs.

    As far as the DB access, try username/ password: support/support. Hope that helps. Some resellers use this for quick access to the DB.

    I have a Mircros 3700, WS4 monitor with server and printers, etc. The Pol Display that came with the system, shows just # signs after entering data on the terminal. The Display is hooked up directly to the back of the POS terminal.
