The error you've got has nothing to do with an email address, it's related to ARS!
When you do a sync and fails, the error log should tell you which controller is that. You can also compare the ARS form to each cluster element and see which one is failing. I presume the ARS is shared across the...
You can have a look in the logs, this should tell you where is failing. You can then compare the forms between the controller where you have SDS errors and the other ones in the cluster.
In Network Elements on MiVB, we have one for VM DNS SRV configured on TLS 5061 (no registrar configured), same for the MBG Proxy.
In the SIP peer profile, we have the user name & password for the SIP trunks configured under Basic\Administration Options.
On the MBG, we've added the VM SIP trunks...
Hello,
Has anyone configured Virgin Media SIP trunks through an MBG SIP proxy, please?
Apparently they use DNS SRV for their SIP trunks registration and the Mitel docs are not covering this.
I've added VM domains and host names on the MBG but the SIP trunks won't register, any ideas?
Thanks...
The DNS fails when I select DNS SRV, I've added the domain and hostname to the MBG but still doesn't resolve. The documentation from Mitel doesn't cover this hence this thread here. There are a few docs with DNS SRV but they aren't very good, on MiVB they say to configure UDP 5060 but DNS SRV is...
Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to reply to this over the weekend.
The SIP provider gave us the details for their DNS SRV records and I've used something like that before for MiCollab clients but not for SIP trunks. What you described above is exactly the configuration needed for MiCollab...
Nope as I need to confirm the DNS SRV required first. It's unclear if I have to configure it on MiVB and MBG or the MiVB uses IP and not DNS SRV.
The other thing that doesn't make sense to me is related to the SIP trunk itself but I need an opinion from someone within the UK to see how they...

I did replace a defective hdd but only with a matching one: same manufacturer and model, the serial number was different if I remember right (as can't be the same for 2 hdd's). I had to clear the sockets though, then plugged only hdd 1, let the system to boot up from it then when I had...
According to the manual for MXeIII SATA RAID controller:
Mirror operation works with dissimilar drives (different models or manufacturers). However, the replacement drive capacity must be equal to or larger than the RAID size. (Use "SHOW STATUS RAID" to determine RAID size.)
Clearing RAID...
I'd guess you know already that you can't replace a faulty hdd unless if it's EXACTLY the same as the faulty one.
If you decide to replace both of them:
take a backup
turn the controller off
take both hdd's out
turn the controller on until you clear the sockets (monitor this on rs232)
install...
