    Berryman had the answer fellas... I created a new blank database in 2000 and imported the external data. I am quickly finding the buggy-assed code left by the developers of the original database. I think it will work in the end though. Thanks for the help !!

    Forget the mde file... I tried opening the mdb file in access 2000 and converting it. Access asks to save it as a 2000 file, but it locks up my access window. Should I take this to mean that the original is faulty? Thanks

    Well, I tried to make an mde file, but it gives a "compile error in hidden module Form_frmApplications". Where is this guy hiding? Thanks for the reply

    I was wondering if anybody knew how to convert an access 97 file to and access 2000 file. I have tried saving the file as a 2000 file, but it gives some compile errors. Any ideas? Thanks
