Thanks for that, i upleveled the firmware before i did the swap and also tried removing the battery. I figured it out in the end tho, it was at the very end of the manual in tiny writing. Thanks again -

Hi, does anyone happen to know how to get a #6556 6 Slot PCI backplane working correctly in a 7028-6c4, i've just tried to upgrade it from a 4 slot but the machine still only sees 4 slots. Any help would be appreciated. -
