Thanks for the response. In this case the errors lasted for 25 hours before stopping - seems like a long time for AD info to be cached. Annoying to not know how to stop these errors, but at least they seem to clear themselves up.
After I move a mailbox between databases, whether on the same server or not, every 15 minutes I get the follow event generated in the application log for the original database location:

I have a database protection job configured which writes to a folder on the Arcserve server. It is using the 5-day weekly incremental backup schedule, which is set to overwrite the media on a Friday, and append every other day. Every Friday instead of clearing the folder & overwriting any data...
Thanks Mike. The web server is internal, and will only be used by internal users, there's no external access at all, so no need for it to be in the DMZ.
I always try & work to the principle of least privilege, which is why I want to be sure that this method will not confer any additional rights...
