I´m installing Open 8.0 on a Xeon 2.0, Everything goes Ok with CD#1, when installation prompts to remove CD and hit enter to reboot and continue with installation, CD Rom won´t eject........and PC doesn`t reboot also.
If i reset de PC then at boot appears:
Unix: Not a bootable Kernel
[Boot]:
Boot disk runs OK, but disk #2 fails to read (incorrect disk inserted, failed to mount disk), altough the disks are ok (previously tested in older system). Also if installing from CD, Unixware doesn´t recognize HBA diskette (to activate DPT SmartRAID) error: (disk inserted is not HBA type)...
I have the same problem, Intel Server Board SC7500SW2 / Intel Xeon 2.0 Ghz / 1 Gbyte RAM, Unixware 7.1.1.
Did you find something??
If i find any info i´ll let you know.

I´m installing Unixware 7.1.1 on a Intel SC7200CW2 server board with 1 XEON 2.0 Ghz processor. If installing from diskette #1, then diskette #2 is not recognized (but i know they´re OK because i tested them in an older machine).
If installing directly from CD# 1, HBA diskette is not recognized...
