This is for Office 2007 (Office 2003 ADM files here), and it only allows the configuration of exchange settings, not pop3 or smtp. Does anyone know how to programatically add and alter the smtp and pop3 settings of outlook?
There is a set of ADM files avcailable to configure various settings of Office 2003 from Group Policy(Office 2003 ADM files, Corresponding documentation, Office 2007 ADM files). These ADM files only seem to allow changes to exchange settings, not pop or smtp settings. Am I missing something...
I am not sure what Global Policy is. Do you mean Group Policy? If you do, I was unaware that you could make these settings there. If you can do you need a special GPO template?
If you have a site of office enterprise, configuring them all is a cinch with some of the tools from the Office Resource Kit (http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?pid=96&fid=4996), but I can not get this to work for retail or OEM versions of office.
