    Legato only backup 1048 MB per tape

    Because we used 2 LT0-drives that only supported LVD, we have to use also an LVD-SCSII card to connect the ADIC to the server. After we bought a Compaq Card, type SCSII-3 (PN 129803-B21). It seems to backup well now. Thanks for all who respond to my messages. Christophe.

    The two drives we use are from IBM, type 'Ultrium-TD1 SCSI Sequential Device'. This is installed under the OS Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 with additional patches. We used the latest drivers from IBM (5.0.2.4). Thanks, Christophe.

    I label it with the automatically assigned barcode-label. Afterwards the volume is marked as 97 GB of capacity.
