Murray, I am using Windows XP. I have Ad-ware, but it did not help. I have Norton Anti Virus, but no virus showed. After I deleted the pop-up files, the restore (go back) function did not work. Thanks, Jim

I think problem started when I opened a pop-up. Somehow the pop-up connected to my startup-auto-exec bat file. I could not uninstall the pop-up, so I deleted the files from the pop-up. Perhaps, the pop-up messed up the other program, such as IE What do you suggest? Thanks, Jim

Murray, After I opened a web windowm I am trying to open a second new window from the task bar or start menu. I ran regsvr32.exe urlmon.dll as you suggested. Ir ran OK. Then I rebooted, but the problem persisted. What do you suggest? Thanks, Jim
