Export a user defined metric
That's a good idea, unfortunately the production server is behind a firewall that requires re-authentication via a secure RSA TAG every 24 hours, this means that I would lose connection on a daily basis unless I manually go in and re-authenticate.- mcintg

I have a sql based user defined metric working on my 10g development servers. I need to get this working on a production box hosted by a third party.
