IE6 and Yahoo long URL hangs after kidproog w98SE

IE6 and Yahoo long URL hangs after kidproog w98SE
I installed kidproof on my Win98SE machine. It failed to work properly so I uninstalled it with its uninstall program. Since then IE6 has behaved strangely. I can surf pretty well but when I check my Yahoo mail account, I can log-in OK, view inbox OK, but when I try to view a mail item IE...- kglade
