query db from remote server via shell script - newbie, be gentle.
OK, I'm looking to connect to a remote mySQL database from a UNIX server, but don't know how. I downloaded the 'connector' software from mysql.com, but the /bin directory is empty... Am I missing something? TIA, and again, please be gentle. Peace, Blane
