Acrobat Reader 6.0 freezing up

PDFMaker caused instability in Word 2003 - Word startup message
An Italian speaking user has encountered this problem. I don't have a suitable test bed to check out this problem so has anyone seen this message before? User System: WinXP Pro SP1, Office 2003, Acrobat Pro 6.0.1. The user reports that even uninstalling Acrobat still leaves WORD 2003...- iburton46
