    How to Make Bootable HD "C:" not "E:" in XP

    Just built a new PC with all new components including harddrive. When the HD gets formatted by Windows XP Home, it always ends up being the E: drive. I understand XP doesn't assign drives letters with the HDs first. How do I get the bootable HD to have drive letter C:?
