what is lvol8 directory
what is lvol8 and what is its importance in unix 11.0 IF its not there how to recover it ...? any help will help me as i am a novice for hp-ux thanks :-)- vhgupta1

Not going to CDE mode??????
Not going to CDE mode..... When system is rebooted its not going to CDE mode.No problems with networking configuration for sure system is on network and working fine in single user mode.But not going to GUI based CDE mode.... Also i suspect lvol8 in /vg00/dev/ is missing as it gave some memory...- vhgupta1
