    Is there a way to create a script with the Veritas Backup ?

    Can a script be written to start and stop Veritas backup of a SQL database? If so, can this script include commands to turn off 'truncate log on checkpoint' then after the backup is complete, turn 'truncate log on checkpoint' back on?
