Win98 Startup - big problems!
reghakr and tsuji many thanks - I'm back up and running. Only addition to the above was to re-install the original graphics drivers as for some reason the only ones left on my machine were lo-res 16 bit drivers. best wishes- 109driver

Win98 Startup - big problems!
Windows 98 starts up in Safe Mode only. Initially, I received the following blue-screen error message; "Invalid VxD dynamic link call from VSDATA95(01)+00014EE8 to device "0028", service 800. Your Windows configuration is invalid. Run Windows Setup progam again to correct this...- 109driver
