    Oops! Copying software from old hdd to new...

    For some reason I thought you could copy everything from an old hard drive to cd's and then transfer that info back onto a new hard drive. Is this not the case? Will I ever be able to run all my software that I HAD before I installed this new hard drive? Is there a resource where I can find...

    Comp USA and Circuit city tell me that I will have to replace the whole mobo because in Sony vaio models (PCG-FX140), they didn't think to put the connection on a pivot. Duhhhh!
