Hello everyone,
Although an easy question for all, I still need assistance.
I have a text box which increments +1 when a new record is added. I have it placed on the control of the text box, but would like to have it automatically run when the form is opened. The code in the control is...
Thanks for the response. This database has gone from version 97, to 2000 and now to 2003. This statement has had to be changed each time. I just now fixed it by using:
stLinkCriteria = "[ControlNumber] =" & "" & Me![ControlNumber] & ""
I just tried your version and it works also.
Thanks...
Hello everyone,
I have a search form with columns and rows. A user can click a cell and it will filter by that cell. A user can double click a field and the record will open based upon the field that was double-clicked. We recently upgraded to Officer 2003 and now we are having issues with...
Hello all,
I'm trying to build a graph in Access by using the wizard. The error I keep receiving is that the OLE server is not registered. To register the OLE server, reinstall it. How do I do that? Is it something I can do from my local machine? Is it something I can add in the references...
Hello All,
On my switchboard, I'd like to have a textbox that would give the date of the last update to the database (which is monthly). I need the datecreated date for a table shown in this textbox. The table name is tblUMD. Is this possible?

Got another question. After thinking about this, probably should have went this route. What is the best way to have only the mismatches show up on the form? I have about 12,000 records and don't want to scroll through all of them looking for a red cell.

Hello all,
I am having a problem sending an email using SendObject. When I use it once, it works fine. After trying the second time, I get an error 'The SendObject was canceled.' If I close the database, then reopen it, it works fine again. Although only once, of course. This is accomplished...
Hello all,
I have a form with an unbound combo box. I'd like the form to filter on the selection I made from the combo box. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks for your help,
Milt
Thanks, Jeremy.
I added an autonumber field to the table and set the subforms/subreports to sort on that field. Works like a charm. I really appreciate your help.
Mike
Thanks for the reply.
The recordsource for both the subform and subreport is the same table.
I don't want any sort for the subreport. I just want the data displayed exactly the way it was entered in the subform.
Mike
Hello,
I have a form with a subform. The subform is default as a datasheet. When I preview the the report of this form/subform, the records in the subreport are not in the same order as on the subform. I am not sorting or grouping by anything on the report, nor on the form.
Any ideas on...
