Dear all, I have been asked to create a separate VLAN on aevery ethernet port on a 2900 switch the reason I need to do this is to create an MRTG graph on each port. We connect customers on each port and dont want visibility between customers.. Has anyone done this ? It's all computers nowadays... -

I have done this. On am point to point back to back link will this limit the bandwidth to 256k? Surely not . Would I be better off to out the traffic shape on each end because it only effects outbound? -

I want to limit the amount of traffic that can leave in ainterface. in this case the serial port. I have heard traffic shaping with access lists is a way to do it. How would I go about it? -

I need to connect two routers back to . This is fine but I want to set the bandwidth between the router to 256k. Is this possible?
