    WINDOWS XP REBOOTS AFTER SHUTTINTIG DOWN

    I installed a brand new WD 120GB HD. After installing windows XP, the computer tells me its saving the setting and is shutting down buts reboots several times, I have to shut the power off to shut the operating system down. John

    I am new at this, I install win. XP on a brand new WD 120 GB HD, What is happing to me is my computer reboots after selecting to shut down,it says saving your setting,then says shutting down but restarts again and again, I have to shut the computer off so it does not reboot. Thanks John
