    Why do I get "program too big to fit into memory"

    I am trying to open run setup on windows 2000, and I get the message "program too big to fit into memory" message, on DOS. It pops up quickly, i've tried winzip, but it is a self extracting file, so winzip won't do it???? Any help would be appreciated
