yes, the database is copied to a hold area so it can be compressed before writing to tape.- jsharpe

Digital Unix Root Password Unknown
I like this forum. unixadmin you're right, once u login and the /usr is mounted you should be able to run passwd and just change the admin password as root. The /etc/passwd file has the passwd encrypted, so editing it won't help much. jsharpe- jsharpe

I have a dba who is having a problem. As he moves files he is encountering duplicate inodes, thus the file cannot be moved.
