Yes. I don't have anything else running... Well... that's not true. My Norton is always running and I usually don't shut that off to run any programs. BUT... should that make a difference? I mean, the real question is, why do my system resources go from over 50% to less than 10% by just...- pluke98

Hi all... Here's my problem - Before I start AI, my system resources (according to my handy, dandy "System Resource" meter) are: System 57%, User 57% and GDI: 67%. As AI is booting, the meter doesn't change at all. But as soon as the splash screen goes away and the actual application...- pluke98
