Having multiple issues with email since migration last week. We have about 12 users with Exchange for internal mail and Outside mail we use pop mail. In our profile for mail, we have 1 accounts set up for each to send/receive email. We are having the following issues:

In Oracle, column defaults do not function if the column is named in the insert.
Is there any way to change this behavior short of writing an insert trigger to replace null values with default values? Perhaps a database setting or some other nifty trick?
