True, but I would have to install Excel on the server or have something map a share to it to run the macro. While this will work it's not my first choice because there's too many moving parts. Hi, I need to reformat a file called upload.txt that contains the following: OR1387L3 Jan 20 2015 6:59PM OR1363L3 Feb 4 2011 6:00PM to this: OR1387 01202015 OR1363 02042011 Does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach this? Thanks in advance!- cyberfreak95
