You would think so, but it is my understanding that the Baan native Drivers are actually slower than the ODBC connections to the DB directly. I haven't actually tried it myself but I have spoken with other users of Baan and Crystal and they have see a drastic improvement.
Is there a way to mask user input with ***'s or to "blank" out the input and not display it on the screen? I am looking for something similar to the "passwd" functionality, when a user types in their old and new password it is not displayed on the screen.
Any help is appreciated.
I hear it going to be at least six months. You can use the ODBC connections to connect directly to your DB. You don't get the data dictionary from Baan but it is much faster then using the Solution Kit.
We are surrently in the middle of an upgrade from Crystal Enterprise 8.5 to Crystal Enterprise 9.0 and I am wondering of anyone knows how/if I can change my main logon page for Crystal Enterprises 8.5 to display a message and point to my new server and logon page?
