Can't delete temp files
How do you boot WinXP in DOS mode? As far as I can tell, safe mode is as good as you can get. Even from the command window, the files will not delete.- PeterFitz

Can't delete temp files
After clearing out the websearch toolbar with a variety of spyware cleaners, I am left with two tmp files in the C:\Windows\Temp folder (WinXP Pro). I have tried (a) deinstalling all strange programmes; (b) deleting through Windows Explorer; (c) deleting in safe mode; (d)asking virus scanners...- PeterFitz
