Maybe, I don't understand what you are suggestion. But if I run the my app from computer A which is in Domain A and I am trying to read information from a computer in Domain B (Domain A and B have no trust or associated whatsoever) then using "RegistryKey.OpenRemoteBaseKey" will fail...- winterminute
