    trouble with ATi Radeon 7000 card

    Whenever I attempt to play video files (avi,mpeg,wmv and DVDs) WMP opens the first frame of the video then the image hangs while the sound continues to play. This is happenig with all my other media players too, often causing the entire operating system to Freeze. No error messages ever appear...
