    With Sharepoint 2003 portal, the lists (announcements, news, events) all has the green "!New" image display next to an new item. But for a LINKS list, where and how do you get it (!New) to show up?

    removing news date/writer's name

    Whenever I add a news item in our sharepoint portal the title, date, description, and author shows up on the public forum of the portal. Would anyone be able to tell me how to remove/hide the date and author's name for the news item that I put in? Thanks!
