thats my problem when i did reformat and reload it could not finish the install of xp the monitor screen had horizontal lines through it,after it rebootedto continue the process of loading xp, how can i start windows in safe mode when it cant finish loading- snyper99

i have reinstalled the original motherboard back in and reloaded xp in order for the computer to work, now this is my next question, can i disconnect the hard drives from the original motherboard and everything else and then install the new motherboard will all the existing programs on the hard...- snyper99

have a jetway 693as motherboard, no onboard video or sound, 4pci slots,1 agp slot, p3 900, motherboard is 370 socket, 512 ram. heres the problem, no problem setting bios loaded xp from scratch after first reboot to continue loading all i get is horizontal lines on monitor and they are in colour...- snyper99
