    I was afraid someone would say that. I have this nagging suspicion that the problem can be fixed in the CMOS, though, since XP recognizes both adaptors but will only "start" the one that's set in the CMOS setting (i.e., AGP or PCI). Thanks for the quick reply to my first message.
