TCP/IP autoconfig XP---CAN ping ip....not http or web address
ok nevermind i should do my research first :0) thanks to the help of the great people that post here, i have found the solution to my problem!! im not sure if it was the registry files or what but the winsock2 patch did work. ive been working on this for 3 days...thanks again!! to anyone else...- martyman1982

TCP/IP autoconfig XP---CAN ping ip....not http or web address
im running a wireless network through win XP. after install...i could send packets of info but could never receive. i manually configured the ip...gateway...and dns server through another computer on the network. This sort of fixed my problem. I can now receive packets...however not through...- martyman1982
