    Thanks Folks! I will be testing linked Tables today, and will also research "pass thru query" I've been around the IBM Midrange systems for over 15 years, but am a rookie at Access. Looks like a pretty powerful tool. Lots to learn... Thanks Again for all. joe

    I have an application where one of the three joined tables is sales data. This data would come via ODBC from an AS400. I know how to do this in Excel, but have been unable to find corresponding functionality in Access. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, joe
