    windows 2000 runs slower than 98

    I thought windows 2000 would be just as fast as 98 or faster. I am really disappointed with the performance. Am I doing something wrong. I have a Gigabyte motherboard with an AMD K6-2 500 CPU and 128 MB of RAM. Am I just better off with Win 98 if I want speed? Please email if you can...
