Ok, I have it working now. I had to change the default administrative mapping to http://www.companywebsite.com and then add server004 as an alternate access mapping in the intranet. Thanks for the help!
The domain issue actually isn't a problem. i will have users set up with usernames and passwords because there will be several different sites for Sahrepoint.
