    Hi, The time seems to be sync only when I stop and restart the XNTPD services....Is it normal....do i have to schedule in crontab a stop and restart service ????

    I've set the time 2 hours behind on my AIX box, When does the AIX get sync. Is it only a the startup of RS/6000 or it will get slowly sync by increasing speed of clock on RS/6000 ??? Thanks

    Need more detail.... My PC Windows 2000 is use as a time server. It's broadcasting NTP. Is there any config file that i have to setup on AIX in order to "listen" to NTP and then resync my RS/6000 clock ??? I've started xntpd using startsrc -s xntpd, but date and time does not...
