    Can't link (old) Excel into Access

    Hi, I have a Daily file, that is an excel file which I would like to have as a linked table in Access 97. But I get an error "External Table isn't in the expected Format". The Excel spreadsheet is outputed from crystal reports, and I suspect that Crystal outputs in an old version...
