    Linux partition question

    Hello, I'm going to be installing Linux on my machine. I have a 4 GB hard drive with 2 GB free. The other 2 GB's house windows 98. I would like to know the best size to partition the drive. I'm new at this so any advice is greatly appreaciated. Thanks Erik
