    Cognos Connection Error

    Thanks for the help. I recieved some help with the problem and the connection now works. "Environment Variables" had to be set to point to the database. I appreciate your input.

    Thanks for your response by the way. We setup the ODBC connection to the same settings that we have on another pc that has Cognos running properly. Still not connecting when we run a connection test. We get the above error. Any ideas?

    Trying to install Cognos. Everything seemed to go well. Now trying to establish a link with Openlink DB. Getting "Connection Error:[OpenLink][ODBC] Unable to allocate server handle, SQL=S1000" Anyone know how to fix this problem???
