I am running a webserver (Windows NT 4) and have been monitoring the TCP Connections Active (via performance monitor). I had expected these to start to fall or at least level out once the client machines (1468 in total) had logged off for the night - but instead this has been steadily increasing...
2 Compaq Proliant ML370 servers both running Windows NT 4
WLBS installed on both - WLBS Virtual NIC adapters
Primary IP is the load-share
Dedicated IP is set to the physical network adapter's IP
on each server.
Port Rules: (same on both servers)
Port Range: 1 to 65535
Protocols: Both...
I'm having the same problem as well - my company is trying to load-share for ASP calls from a substantial group of users and is sufferring the same problem.
Grateful for any help anyone can give me as well...!
