broken folder icon on G4
booted up with os 9 and used to disc utilities and everything is ok with the hard drive, switched back from os 10 to os 9 boot up and everyting worked fine. i guess there must be some truth, because i don't use os 10 and a tech at apple claims that if you don't use os 10 for a period of time it...- 1030

[sadeyes] I use 9 & I selected OSX from my start up disk and restarted only to get a grey screen with what appears to be a broken folder icon. I can't do anything. In a desperate attempt I tried rebuilding the desktop - nothing. I am unable to open my disc drive to re-install the software. What...- 1030
